Raleigh NOW Meeting Plans – May thru August 2018

Tuesday, May 1, 7:15pm – Cameron Village Library, topic: Crisis Pregnancy Centers and the current Supreme Court Case. Also, planning to deliver pro-choice signature ad packets to legislature in early June.

Tuesday, Jun 5, 7:15pm – Cameron Village Library, topic: Policies that would help women and families in North Carolina. 

July – no meeting, National NOW Conference in San Jose, CA, Jul 6-8

Tuesday, Aug 7, 7:15pm – Cameron Village Library, topic: women’s equality day

Related: Tuesday, May 22, CPCs: Real Money for Fake Women’s Clinics, 11:30am – 12:30pm, in front of Senator Thom Tillis’ office, the Federal Office Building at 310 New Bern Ave.

  1. This is great, thanks! I might actually wrap my head around attending and help advertise the meetings (if you want more people there). A couple of things though.

    The first Tuesday in June is Kune 5, not 6.

    Has the CV library changed its policies to allow you to reserve a room more than 30 days in advance?

    1. Thanks for the date catch, fixing now. No – same policy with the library. But even if we couldn’t get the big room(s), they have other meeting room options we can use. Tuesday nights have not been too busy there. Would love to have you back!
