Annual Remember My Name Domestic Violence Vigil in Fayetteville on Thursday, Oct 10, 2019
This event recognizes those individuals who have died during the past year as a result of domestic violence (DV). Join Fayetteville NOW members as Fayetteville pauses to remember DV victims this year as they do every year.
Date: Thursday, October 10, 2019
Time: 5:00 pm-6:15 pm
Place: On the steps of the Cumberland County Courthouse, 117 Dick St., Fayetteville NC
Suggested clothes: Wear purple in support of victims. Can wear Fayetteville NOW chapter shirts (lavender) or NC NOW shirts (deep purple).

The keynote speaker is Major Stacey Cohen, who is a special victim prosecutor with the 18th Airborne Corps on Fort Bragg. Retired Chief District Court Judge Beth Keever will read the names of the 38 people who died as a result of domestic violence in North Carolina over the past year.
