We are so very excited about the Raleigh Women’s March on Sunday, Jan 26, 2020! See video inviting you to Raleigh Women’s March here. You may recognize someone in this one ;-). The march begins at the Legislative Building at 16 W. Jones St and ends up at Halifax Mall. We have great speakers and great performers ready to go. And a few special aspects, one of which you can be part.
The Women’s March On Raleigh is doing the Chilean anti-rape anthem “A Rapist In Your Way” in both Spanish + English with corresponding collective movement. Please join us for this powerful expression and share the invitation with your networks! We will hold two practice sessions prior to the demonstration at the Raleigh Women’s March:
Mon. Jan. 20 | 7 PM at Pullen Baptist Church on Hillsborough St., in Raleigh
Sat. Jan. 25 | 2 PM at Sahaja S p a c e, 2007 Chapel Hill Rd, in Durham – more below.
Read about the anti-rape anthem and see the words and the moves at See and learn Chilean Anti-Rape Anthem. If you want to be part of the performance, the other training is this Saturday, Jan 25, at 2pm in Durham. Sign up and find out more in this google form. See the facebook event for the Jan. 25 training at https://www.facebook.com/events/469220460651179/.
