NC is proposing big changes to ‘reform’ Medicaid, and now is the time to give input on it. NC DHHS is seeking additional public input from April 25 to 11:59 p.m. on May 25, 2017 on the Medicaid and NC Health Choice programs transformation (also known as “Medicaid reform”). This week’s legislative update is focused on progress in the various wars our legislature has been waging on the citizens of North Carolina. There have been developments in the War on Women, the War on Immigrants and the Poor, and the War on Non-Partisanship. The only good news to report is that the legislature is expected to adjourn next week.
It is hard to comprehend how much damage NC’s Conservative lawmakers did during the 2013 legislative session.
