Chapter meeting updates from Fayetteville NOW.
November 2017 Chapter Meeting:
Date: Tuesday, Nov 21, 2017

Place: Quaker House, Hillside Ave.
This is the last meeting of Fayetteville NOW at the Quaker House. We have been fortunate and very thankful to have enjoyed the hospitality of Quaker House over the years. Starting in January, Fayetteville NOW meetings will be held at the historic Belden-Horne House, 519 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
Originally located on Green Street, the Belden-Horne House was built by Simeon Belden after the disastrous fire of May 1831 destroyed his earlier home. The “Great Fire,” considered to be one of the worst in the nation’s history, struck Fayetteville in 1831. Though no lives were lost, numerous businesses and homes were destroyed, including the old State House. The Fayetteville citizens joined together to help rebuild the city.
